Better Together.

LET'S WORK TOGETHER TO RAISE ENOUGH FUNDS TO SPONSOR A SERVICE DOG.
Though our dogs are truly priceless to the people they help, it costs us $35,000 to raise a single service dog from birth to graduation. This includes the cost of veterinary care, food, kennels, staffing, education, collars, harnesses, leashes, vests, bowls, enrichment toys, and treats. We never charge our recipients for their dogs - they're meant to help, not to cause stress. That's where you come in. Little by little, we know we can raise $35,000 to fully sponsor a dog for a person in need. Thank you for being a part of this effort!

Help a future service dog look pawfessional

A donation at this level will outfit one Canine Assistants dog with their important gear; a comfortable and safe harness, a 4-foot leash, an ID collar, and most importantly, a service dog vest. Without these items, dogs are not able to go out into the world and learn everything they need to know to be a successful working dog.

Food = fuel

For $50, you can feed a future service dog for a month. At Canine Assistants, we only feed the highest quality, research-backed food, to ensure the long-term health and wellness of our dogs. On average, one dog will go through a 34lb bag of food in six weeks, making the monthly cost of their food right at $50. You can feel great about this gift, knowing one of our dogs is fueled by your generosity alone.

Honor our Founder

Make a gift of support to Canine Assistants in honor of our Founder and Executive Director, Jennifer Arnold. As a young teen, Jennifer suddenly lost the ability to walk. As her family was desperate to help her, they found there were no service dogs available to people like her. Instead of letting it get them down, Jennifer and her family made lemonade out of lemons, starting Canine Assistants, and helping nearly 3,000 deserving people over the last 33 years.
